It is through the contributions of individuals and businesses that the Foundation is able to continue to help Girard Medical Center meet their needs, and the needs of the community each and every day. Whether to commemorate a loved one or help with a one-time donation, the Foundation has options to meet every intention.

MEMORIAL GIFTS
Memorial gifts are often given in memory of close friends or family members. The family of the person memorialized is notified of the gift without mention of the amount. Some families appreciate a gift of this nature in their time of grief.

HONOR GIFTS
Honor gifts are those given in honor of close friends or family members. The person honored is notified of the gift without mention of the amount. These gifts are excellent birthday, anniversary, get well, or holiday gifts.

PLANNED GIFTS
A planned gift is usually conveyed by a Will or Trust. A specified amount of cash, securities or property, or a portion of an estate may be given. Many times gifts of this nature are set up years in advance.

SINGLE-PURPOSE GIFTS
Single-purpose gifts may be donated for a specific purpose or use designated by the donor. Often these are brought to the public’s attention by the Foundation, or it could be to meet a need that the donor feels has importance.
