| The clinical laboratory at Girard Medical Center is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The lab is staffed by 9 Medical Technologists, 3 phlebotomists, and 1 lab assistant. General blood and urine tests are performed along with microbiology and blood banking. Tests are performed on state of the art equipment which is well maintained by our professional Medical Technologists. Drug testing is provided to local companies for pre-employment and post-accident needs. Electrocardiology is also performed in the lab. Available procedures include routine EKG’s, Stress EKG’s, and 24 hour Holter Monitoring. |
