October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and Girard Medical Center Foundation announces the kick off of the Campaign for Life Fundraising Drive. The purpose of the campaign is to purchase a digital mammography machine. The goal of the two year campaign is $425,000.
“Early detection is the best protection for breast cancer. The Foundation is excited to kick off the fundraising drive to provide state-of-the-art technology for Girard Medical Center,” said Greg Sullivan, Foundation Board President.
Breast cancer has touched the lives of everyone in some way. Whether it is your grandmother, mother, sister, daughter, aunt or friend we all know a woman affected. With the purchase of a new mammography machine, Girard Medical Center can help save lives of someone you know or it could be you.
Please consider making a donation to the GMC Foundation to help save lives one mammogram at a time. For more information please contact Ronda Ison at 620-724-5192 or firstname.lastname@example.org
