Pharmacy
Girard Medical Center has a full service Pharmacy for our in-house patients. Physician orders can be prepared by our licensed pharmacist and professional technical staff. All medication orders are dispensed in a unit-dose, bar-coded format.
By the fall of 2011, all medications will be ordered electronically by our medical staff and patients and medicines will be scanned at bedside for accuracy. From total parenteral nutrition to surgery to medical needs, the pharmacy is fully prepared to respond to our patient’s needs.
