What does this surgery do?
The Sleeve Gastrectomy removes two-thirds of the stomach, which makes you feel fuller faster. It is a TOOL to initiate weight loss and improve overall health.
We will partner with you on your journey to a healthier more vibrant you with the knowledge and tools you need for life-long modifications, including health eating, small portions, and exercise.
Why this type of surgery?
This surgery best applies to volume eaters as it restricts the size of the stomach, resulting in a lesser amount of food consumed at one time. Other types of surgery can cause a reduction of nutritional absorption or require a band which may slip or erode.
